Citadel MMS Manager - 1

As the Multimedia Services Manager, my task was to evaluate and implement equipment and software trends into the Multimedia Services support program.This also included designing and developing training and support for individual instruction as well as classroom instruction to Citadel faculty, staff, and students.

My first project was to expand Multimedia Services into a new lab hosting high-end computer stations for use by students, faculty, and staff. The expansion involved consulting with vendors on the purchasing and installation of furniture, equipment, and software. I also communicated with other departments such as the Physical Plant and Network Support Services regarding the physical needs of the labs including electrical outlets, lighting, and network connections.

I supervised staff members in the support and training created in using the new hardware and software in the Multimedia lab. Hardware included flatbed scanners, slide scanners, and digital video capturing stations. Software included Photoshop, ImageReady, Homesite, Acrobat, and access to WebCT.
